Venue Location

Meridian Showground is located on Kings Road at the southern end of Cleethorpes resort, just a short walk from Cleethorpes beach. The venue is a beautiful four-acre outdoor space perfect for festivals and events.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

Car Parking

Please note: There is no public parking available on-site at Meridian Showground. However, several public car parks are available within walking distance of the venue. Please confirm their closing times. Nearby Car Parks:

  • Meridian Point Retail & Leisure Car Park (approx 0.4 miles)
  • Cleethorpes Leisure Centre Car Park (approx. 0.8 miles)
  • Grant Street Car Park (approx. 1.5 miles)
  • Additional pay & display parking available in Cleethorpes resort

Important: During peak events, parking in the resort can be limited. We strongly recommend arriving early or using public transport.

Public Transport

  • Cleethorpes Railway Station is approximately 1.2 miles from the venue (20-minute walk)
  • Regular services from Grimsby Town and connections to national rail networks
  • Stagecoach buses serve Cleethorpes with regular services along Kings Road
  • Bus stops located near the venue entrance

Taxi Services

Our official taxi partner is Links Taxis, we recommend using them and downloading their app for easy rides to and from Clee Country.

SITE RULES & INFORMATION

Entry Requirements

  • Valid ticket required for entry (digital or printed)
  • ID required for anyone purchasing alcohol (Challenge 25 policy)
  • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

Safety & Security

  • Bag searches may be conducted at entry points
  • Security patrols operate throughout the event
  • Emergency exits clearly marked
  • Lost children/persons assistance available at the control tower

What to Bring

  • Your ticket (digital or printed)
  • Photo ID if purchasing alcohol
  • Sun protection (cream, hat, sunglasses)
  • Light jacket or jumper for evening
  • Cash and card (most vendors accept both)

Prohibited Items

  • Illegal substances
  • Weapons or anything that could be used as a weapon
  • Professional camera equipment without prior authorization
  • Outside food and beverages (exception: sealed water bottles)
  • Fireworks, flares, or smoke devices
  • Drones or recording devices without permission
  • Laser pointers
